Help Support A Career!
I am thrilled to announce that, through highly competitive national auditions, I was invited to attend OperaWorks’ 2016 Advanced Artist Summer Program in Los Angeles, California.
This nationally acclaimed program’s holistic, one-of-a-kind performance and business training gives 21st century performers the skills to thrive in the music industry, make meaningful contributions to our communities, and to imbue performances with visceral power and vibrancy.
OperaWorks is the crucial next stage in my career path development. In order to participate in this outstanding opportunity, I am writing ask for your help. The program costs (including tuition, housing and travel) for OperaWorks are approximately $4,900. Any contributions you could make towards my expenses will be much appreciated and gratefully received. Lose change in jars or renegade coins from under the sofa will be just as valuable as $5, $10, $25, $50, even $100, or the amount of your choice. Tax-deductible options available and detailed on my Indiegogo campaign page.
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your time, help, and generosity. I am honored to have you as part of my performance journey. Mille grazie, xie xie, gracias, merci beaucoup, veile dank, and many thanks! I hope our paths will cross at a future performance. May you have a wonderful day!

Come enjoy an evening of glorious music by Leonard Bernstein, Rodgers and Hammerstein II, Elton John, Henry Mancini, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Freddie Mercury (and more!) and make a difference in our Bay Area communities at the same time! You'll also get to tap your toes to the talents of our special guest artists, Michael Maguire (Tony Award Winner, Les Misérables) Billy Valentine (Sons of Anarchy, Boston Legal TV series vocalist) and Julie Garnyé (Singer, actress, voiceover artist).
Sing for America is a not-for-profit organization focused on supporting the performing arts. Much the same way one would train for a triathlon for breast cancer while fundraising online, SFA helps people, like me, raise funds through singing in a grand Benefit Concert while championing causes and/or organizations of our choosing. Last year, the SFA Chorus raised over $110,000.
This year, I’ll be raising my voice in support of Opera à la Carte’s School Scholarship fund. The San Francisco Opera Guild’s Opera à la Carte program brings the sights and sounds of opera to schools throughout the San Francisco Bay Area (locations include San Francisco, Napa, Sonoma, Santa Rosa, Richmond, Oakland, Berkeley, San Jose, Geyserville, Healdsburg, Eureka, and more) by giving their 4th – 8th grade students the opportunity to perform alongside professional singers in exciting, immersive productions. OALC’s school scholarship fund helps support schools in giving their students a chance to share in the amazing experience of opera and performance.
Last Fall, I had the privilege of being a Teaching Artist in OALC’s production of The Magic Flute and it was truly inspiring to see how much the student performers and their classmates enjoyed themselves and grew from their adventure in opera. Please help me support OALC’s School Scholarship Fund and the Sing for America Foundation by making a tax-deductible donation on my page: http://www.classy.org/OALCscholarships.
You can also support me by coming to our show and buying tickets with my unique coupon code, SFA034, at checkout. You’ll also get a $5 discount and half the ticket price will go to the School Scholarship Fund.Even if you can’t make a donation or buy tickets, please help me reach my goal by sharing my page on Facebook and Twitter or by sending an email to friends who you think might be interested in contributing. Thank you for your generosity and we can’t wait to share this wonderful evening with you!!!

Article about show in KQED ARTS:
Struggling SF Artists Imitate Life in 'La Bohème' - and Yes, There's A Bar
"Join us at the Exit Theatre for Opera on Tap San Francisco's fully staged production of Puccini's La Bohème with chamber orchestra. Director and Co-Managing Divo Kenneth Keel sets this classic story of starving artists and passionate romance in modern day San Francisco. La Bohème is just as relevant now as it was in 1896 when it premiered. Just think of our current housing crisis. Artists of our beloved city, once bubbling over with creativity, are unable to make ends meet. Come with us and follow six friends as they struggle to survive in the demanding and complex environment of San Francisco."

and Holiday Pops – A Concert of Music of the Christmas Season
on December 15, 17, & 21 @ 8 pm December 23, 2 pm, followed by Christmas Caroling, and the Arrival of Santa Claus
"Celebrated annually since 1927, the Bracebridge Dinner transforms The Ahwahnee into an 18th century English manor for a feast of food, song and mirth. The inspiration for this yuletide ceremony was Washington Irving's Sketch Book that described Squire Bracebridge and English Christmas traditions of that period.
"The Bracebridge Dinner is an elegant and artistic four-hour pageant of classic carols, Renaissance rituals and entertainment of the Middle Ages. More than 100 players create the roles of the Squire and his family, their servants, the Lord of Misrule, minstrels and other performers. The Ahwahnee Dining Room serves as the Great Hall and stage for the festivities and is decked with magnificent wreaths, an elaborate squire's table, large banners and traditional Yuletide decorations. The centerpiece of this revered event is a seven-course banquet of rich and wondrous dishes prepared by The Ahwahnee’s world-class culinary staff." OPERA À LA CARTE: DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE
A TASTE OF OPERA THAT’S HUGE ON STUDENT PARTICIPATION FOR GRADES 4-8
"In this signature program that serves more than 100 Bay Area schools each year, students have the opportunity to perform alongside a troupe of professional artists in a rousing 45-minute adaptation of Mozart’s beloved opera. Masterfully designed for young audiences, the English-language production features four professional singers, a pianist and docent who, along with your students, bring the wonder of opera to life in your school. Students prepare brief speaking roles in advance, are guided by artists in a final dress rehearsal and, with props, scenery and specially-designed costumes, perform for the entire school community. Schools may also choose to involve a chorus, giving additional students a chance to perform."
