Inhabiting both opera and theater worlds, chameleon Harrington delights in sharing the exquisite, diverse, powerful, and multifaceted characters and stories of opera, musical theater, and theater. Harrington’s performances of Donna Elvira in Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni were described as “poised and refined and full of nuance, and sung with great warmth and beauty” (Andrea Grant, Music Staff, University of Toronto, Opera Division, Wexford Festival Opera, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis). In the musical The Addams Family, "Harrington [stood] out as mother Alice, a Debbie Reynolds gone bonkers, totally winning us over with song and absurdity in the dark dinner game” (TalkinBroadway.com). 
 
Other notable roles include Elsa Schraeder (The Sound of Music), Judy Haynes (Irving Berlin’s White Christmas), Grace Farrell (Annie), Theo, The Minstrel (The Bracebridge Dinner at Yosemite), Mother (A Christmas Story, The Musical), Pamina (The Magic Flute), Cecily Pigeon (The Odd Couple), Sharon Graham (Second Soprano) (Master Class), and Mimì (Puccini's La Bohème).
 
Harrington has also premiered new compositions, including Portraits of Scheherazade (song cycle for soprano and chamber orchestra) by award-winning Australian composer Natalie Williams, Ph.D and she sang in the world premiere of Ireland's Poet-Patriots: A Musical Tribute by Richard B. Evans at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. She also performed in the West Coast Premiere of Robert Xavier Rodríguez's Monkey See, Monkey Do (Maria (Guest Artist)) at USC San Bernardino.

An avid recitalist and concert singer, Harrington performed with the iSING International Young Artists Festival as part of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra's 2015 MISA Closing Concert. During her time in China, Harrington also performed with the Hangzhou Symphony Orchestra, the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, and at a concert in Beijing at The Great Hall of the People. Most recently, Harrington performed as an iSING! Festival Singer in the iSING! San Francisco with Hao Jiang Tian concert at the Herbst Theatre in the San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center and as the soprano soloist for Samuel Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915 with the Sonoma County Philharmonic.
 
Ms. Harrington is a graduate of Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she studied with the internationally renowned soprano, Carol Vaness. She currently studies with internationally acclaimed soprano and teacher, Sheri Greenawald. Harrington resides in California with her husband, Rudi Blondia, and their three cats. When she isn’t performing, Harrington teaches music and leads sing-a-long music therapy concerts through the Songs By Heart Foundation for people with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
